Festival Shuttle Bus to Meredith Town
There is a shuttle bus that runs between the festival site and Meredith Town.
On Friday and Sunday, the bus links with public transport options and shuttle runs are timed to meet bus services through Meredith town. For more information about Public Transport go here.
If you plan on taking the shuttle on Sunday, it is very important to book your return journey into Meredith town by 9pm on Saturday night. You can do this at the Info Centre, near the Gift Shoppe.
The shuttle is also available on Friday evening and Saturday for general trips into Meredith town to stock up on any forgotten items. For this purpose, the shuttle runs during the following times:
Friday: 6pm – 9pm
Saturday: 9am – 9pm
The shuttle bus departs from the bus stop near Reception and costs $5.
SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
From Southern Cross Station, Melbourne
Melbourne On The Move will be providing a one way or return direct coach from Southern Cross Station Bus Terminal to the Meredith Music Festival.
Friday 9 December 2011 (direct to the festival)
7am, 1pm and 6pm coach departure from Southern Cross Station Bus terminal going straight to festival site bus stop.
Sunday 11 December 2011 (direct to Melbourne)
11am and 4pm coach departing festival bus stop
A one way ticket will cost $30 and return is $40. Bookings can be made at the Melbourne On The Move website or via 1300 55 86 86.
DOUG & FAY
Thanks to Doug and Fay McFarlane for many years of long and friendly shuttle bus service. The bus loop roads have been named ‘The McFar Lane’ and ‘The McNear Lane’ in their honour. We wish them all the very best for a happy retirement.
